Now the fab Blur are getting back together, I’m reminded of an overheard conversation in the Lyric on Great Windmill Street in London where the band used to drink.
Graham Coxon was always moaning about Damon Albarn and one day told Richard the licensee that he’d had enough and was leaving.
The licensee replied, “I have two words for you. Andrew Ridgley.”
Therein, lies a tale.
