Getting bored with me writing about Iggy Pop yet?

Couldn’t resist this new single “King Of The Dogs” from his upcoming  New Orleans jazz-influenced album Préliminaires. He really seems to be morphing into a Tom Waits/Preservation Hall Jazz Band combination.

The single’s out now, (listen and cover art below), album isn’t due until May 25 from one of the better labels, Astralwerks.

And here he is talking about the project from some god-forbidden slum, replete with french subtitles, and at times, a poodle called Lucky…….enjoy!
