Fave British Bushism’s

As we bid au revoir to #43, some bushism’s uttered with a British twist.

May 10, 2007: The United States was a nation the Queen “had come to know very well”, Bush said. “After all, you’ve dined with ten US presidents. You helped our nation celebrate its bicentennial in 17 – 1976.”

July 19, 2001: “It is white” — after being asked by a child in Britain what the White House was like.

Feb 23, 2001: “We both use Colgate toothpaste” — after a reporter asked what he had in common with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
