#168 Radio Show, April 15, 2013 – Shinyribs

I was joined in studio by Kevin Russell main man behind Shinyribs and a member of The Gourds, as we talked music, inspiration and influences, cover versions and the health of the Austin music scene, while he played a couple of tunes from his new album, Gulf Coast Museum and a Leadbelly classic. We learned about shape notes, road trips, sharing the same stage as Hendrix and The Monkees and who the Forest Gump of music is….wonderful stuff and thank you Kevin.
